The Nürburgring Drift Cup (NDC)

12 December 2018

The Nürburgring Drift Cup (NDC) is a drift event held at the legendary Nürburgring circuit. The NDC is a renowned drifting series, which is the bridge between amateur drifting competitions and the highest level of drifting competitions in Europe such as the European Drift Championship(EDC).

The NDC is a drift competition with five rounds all held at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany, with each time a different section of the track being used. This year Bas crowned himself champion of the NDC, and Sebastian became champion in the NDC in 2016. The NDC is divided into two classes; the PRO category and the PRO-A M category. The PRO category is for the professional drivers and the PRO-AM category is for the less skilled amateur drivers. Both Bas and Sebastian became champion in the PRO category.

For the 2019 season, Bas will compete in the NDC as practice competitions for the main focus of the season; the Irish Drift Championship. After claiming the title in the PRO category of the NDC last year, the need was there to make a step in terms of level of competition in drifting, and that was found in the IDC. Bas hopes to continue his good momentum after claiming the NDC title.
